Philipson, David

(1862-1949)
   American Reform rabbi. He was born in Wabash, Indiana and served as a rabbi in Baltimore and Cincinnati. He was president of the Central Conference of American Rabbis, and taught at the Hebrew Union College. His writings include The Reform Movement in Judaism, The Jew in English Fiction and My Life as an American Jew.
